Sitting on the couch and eating everything we like will never help us loose those extra pounds. But with some will and some effort, we could live a healthy life and have a great body.
Food is so important in our lives so it’s no wonder that it plays such a big part in our diets. But we want to show you that there are some foods that will help you have a perfect waist and be full of energy.
Here they are:
1. Fish and seafood.
They are among the most indicated proteins, and if for a month you replace any meat with grilled fish, shellfish or other seafood, your body has everything to gain. Fish, fresh or canned, contains omega 3 and other good fats which, among other benefits, improve skin appearance and the overall health. The oysters are the richest source of zinc, essential for restoring the collagen.
2. Lemons and kiwi.
A glass of warm water in which you squeezed a lemon drank first thing in the morning, is detoxifying, refreshing and will change your appearance after just a few days. Kiwi fruit is very effective against constipation, it helps you get rid of the toxins from the body, and with them, removes impurities that give the skin a tired and old look. Other that fruits have rejuvenating effects are the pineapples, apples, berries and grapefruit.
The red penetrating high content of antioxidants is proof that the beetroot maintains the cells in the body healthy, including the skin tissues. Do not throw the leaves – added to salads, they have a detoxifying effect.
4. Sweet potatoes and carrots.
These vegetables are full of beta carotene, the vitamin A converted by the body, which makes your skin soft, keeping intact its elasticity. Sweet potatoes contain more fiber, vitamin D, necessary for the cold season, and potassium, good for the heart. Carrots are very tasty baked and eaten boiled or raw in salads or as a juice. Pumpkin has similar properties.
5. Green vegetables.
Green beans contains antioxidant, vitamins A and C that are protecting the body from the effects of pollution and keeping the shiny appearance of the skin. Very healthy are other cruciferous vegetables such as cabbage or broccoli.
The milk and the products made from it contain probiotics that strengthen the immunity. In addition,it provides the daily requirement of calcium. You can enrich the taste by using sunflower seeds, flax, chia and hemp. Dairy foods have a lower fat content.
7. Red wine.
You should drink a glass of red wine 3-4 times a week because not only it improves the mood, but also the appearance. At the same time, it protects the heart and brain from aging.
8. Natural sweeteners.
Instead of sugar use molasses, one of the healthiest sweeteners, a good source of iron, vitamins, calcium and magnesium. Natural extract of stevia and agave syrup are also two good choices. Dark chocolate dessert is the only one allowed if it has over 70% cocoa but no more than three squares a day.
