What should you drink while on a diet

juice-shocking2We all know that while dieting you must have a lot of liquids to keep you hydrated and help you loose weight. But not all liquids are good to be drank when you keep a diet so here is a list of what is good for you.

It is good to know that every time you open a bottle of soda (with or without sugar), you condemn yourself  take in hundreds of calories, without nutrients. Drinking soda is one of the biggest disservice you do to figure and your health. The best alternative – plain water.

Juices made from fruits can have even more calories than soda. They have vitamins and antioxidants, but also very much sugar. Choose a 100% natural juice or juices prepared at home. Anyway, check the label, even when it comes to those so-called natural juices. The healthiest and most appropriate alternative, especially if you are over weight and on a diet, are the vegetable juices. Here’s an example: a glass of orange juice has 160 calories, while a glass of tomato juice has only 60!

Milk is another wise and very healthy choice. On one condition – choose the non fat version which minimize fat intake.

Energy drinks are true calorie bombs and the energy intake they bring is superficial and short-lived. In addition there are very unhealthy by the high content of chemicals and additives they contain. If you need an energy drink, drink coffee. It has antioxidants and stimulates metabolism. Ideally, however, is the green tea.

Also avoid alcohol. A great alternative is a light beer or a glass of wine, but they should be consumed carefully and slowly.
